I get what appears to be some sort of refresh problem, while running in 16bbp or 15bpp color depths at any resolution. The video card is Matrox Millenium (older 175MHz DAC model), and performs perfectly under these settings under Windows NT 3.51/4.0 and Winbloze95... Definately a little weird. The X server works fine at 256 and Truecolor modes.. It's accelx v1.3 on FreeBSD (2.2 or 2.1)
The verticle blue/yellowish lines appear as other windows are placed/removed on the windows in question. Clicking on several menu items on the Motif tool bars also gives the same effect - you can see the borders of where the drop down menu used to be..
