The library I’m currently favouring for the GSC.. Enough capacity to keep us going for a couple years at our current growth rate. 240 slots initially, but expandable in two phases for up to 690 slots, unless you need to put a LOT of drives in it in which case you have to sacrifice some slot potential. Most importantly it’s a well proven piece of hardware with a lot of happy owners. We’ve looked at the L700 installed at QLT and they’ve been quite happy. stoney just got one as well and is thrilled. Sun is willing to discount it more than StorageTek themselves, and I feel more comfortable driving the L700 with a Solaris box anyhow.
