MGS2
I’ve been meaning to play Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty for some time now. When the game came out for the 2001 Xmas season it was probably one of the most highly anticipated video games of all time. But for some reason I just never got around to playing it. Quite often tactical stealth games annoy me too easily (Splinter Cell borders on annoying frustration for most of the game IMHO), but I’m happy to report that MGS2 seems to be a near-perfect balancing act of stealth and action. All in all, just a lot of fun from 5 minutes into the game right to the end. And since I picked it up nearly 2 years after its release, I only paid $25. Bonus!
