Bloglines and Firefox

Bloglines news today had this:

Over the past few months, we’ve watched users steadily switch away from Netscape and Internet Explorer to Firefox. Back in July, while Firefox was still in beta, it had grown to over 5% of our traffic. Today, Firefox represents 20% of requests to Bloglines.

It should come as no surprise, then, that Bloglines has started the Bloglines Firefox Center. It’s a nice resource which includes some Firefox advocacy, and it tells you how you can add some very useful Firefox Extensions that integrate with the Bloglines service. Livelines is certainly worth trying if you’re a bloglines.com user -when Firefox detects an RSS feed on a page, it turns on a little status icon in the bottom right corner. Livelines lets you click that icon and send the feed to your bloglines page. Very slick.
