The CBC also supports Ogg Vorbis streams.

Download the WMP Directshow filters from:

http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/

Enjoy.

Bringing the LJ discussion in:

[info]ben
http://www.cbc.ca/programguide/frequency/index.jsp?null lists CBCV-FM: 90.5 FM

Tried that?

What are the chances that CBC broadcasts in AM stereo?

90.5 (CBCV-FM) is actually out of Victoria. You can pick it up in Vancouver, but it's very location / weather dependent. Still, I often default to 90.5 and deal with some static. It's better than AM when you can get a signal. I haven't tried, but I suspect that with a decent tuner and antenna I could probably get fairly good reception at home. I can see Vancouver Island from my patio.

AM Stereo. Good lord. Why bother?
