Hot PowerBook

I’m working on a presentation on the PowerBook tonight. For the BC.Net Advanced Networking Conference that I’m speaking at tomorrow. Anyhow, it’s unseasonably warm in Vancouver (like, summertime warm) and this is the first time in a few months that I’ve worked on the PowerBook for an extended period in quite some time. Boy. Is this thing ever getting hot! A few hours in and the heat is uncomfortably radiating up through the keyboard. The *bottom* side of the 2″ thick pine dining table is even warm.

I don’t remember the PowerBook ever getting this hot. Especially when the CPU isn’t even pegged. I wonder if something has broken…
