Resisting Tiger

So, Tiger’s out. And even though I walked right in front of a Mac retailer at 6:15pm today, I somehow managed to resist the temptation to go in and BUY BUY BUY!
The top 3 reasons why I didn’t buy Tiger today:

1. My PowerMac came with a few bundled apps that I use quite a bit. GraphicConverter and OmniGraffle in particular. I haven’t looked to see how (or if) I can transfer the bundle licenses to the new OS.
2. My Mac is working really great right now and I don’t want to fuck it up. I don’t have the time to do the install, let alone deal with any problems that might arise…
3. Directly related to above, I generally like to wait for the ".1" update before I make the switch. There’s so many new changes in 10.4 that I figure my logic is even more sound this time ’round.

So that’s it. It’s April 29th. Tiger is out. And I don’t have it.
