Im actually trying to install Ruby on Rails with FreeBSD 4.11...

I think that the version of openssl compiled with Ruby on Rails is different to the version installed in FreeBSD 4.11 or RHEL4, matching the versions "should" fix the problem

		<description>I have not, unfortunately. The solution for now is that I'm doing my Ruby work on OS X and Solaris. But I do need to get things working on RHEL4 so I will spend some time on it next week.</description>
