we have RHEL4 platforms, ive been tasked with bundling ruby on rails into an rpm, do you have any pointer based on your experience?

FYI: Update 2 for Red Hat Enterprise 4 seems to have magically resolved the issue for me.

Im actually trying to install Ruby on Rails with FreeBSD 4.11…

I think that the version of openssl compiled with Ruby on Rails is different to the version installed in FreeBSD 4.11 or RHEL4, matching the versions “should” fix the problem

I have not, unfortunately. The solution for now is that I’m doing my Ruby work on OS X and Solaris. But I do need to get things working on RHEL4 so I will spend some time on it next week.
