Don’t ever buy DRM’ed CDs
My god. This is a MUST read for any sysadmin out there:

Basically the DRM system that gets installed on your computer if you buy this Sony/BMG “CD” is the worst kind of malware. It’s a crappy rootkit the fucks up your computer, and can’t be uninstalled unless you’re an absolute Windows Internals Grand Master(tm).
I thought two things after reading this: 1) I’ll never buy any CD that doesn’t have the real “Compact Disc” logo on it. 2) Windows frightens me. If I can get my system into this kind of trouble JUST BY INSERTING A FREAKING MUSIC CD god help me trying to serve up web pages to the Internet…
