But maybe not.

I did hear at one point they started using Rackable Systems stuff instead of the home-brew specials. I can only assume that they move from vendor to vendor to keep things cost competitive. I have a hard time believing it's worth their time and money to build thse things up from scratch as the famously did in the beginning. But hey, what do I know?</description>
