The bit that impressed me was the image uploading functionality when they drag-n-dropped an image onto TextMate. TextMate Bundles development is really well done, extending TextMate to do stuff like blogging is surprisingly easy.

The Blogging Bundle is written in Ruby, the svn repository is here:

With the Ruby code living in /Support/lib/.

The bundle even takes advantage of the command-line interface for Keychain:
