A Taste of Winter

It’s been a fall and winter to remember in the Vancouver area this year. 14 storms since November. Biblical rains, devestating winds, and epic snowfall in the mountains. What happened this time was an artic cold front slammed into a traditional rain storm, and the results were most pleasing:

Winter in Port Moody

Blue sky and fresh snow just aren’t two things you normally see living in a rainforest region. It’s certainly made me nostalgic for the winters I grew up in.

Snow. It’s cold, wet, and annoying, but it sure is beautiful. Not to mention fun, if you are (or have) a kid!
